Walking Under the Living Sky

Forest Bathing Experiences

Originally a well-being practice from Japan called Shinrin-Yoku, Forest Bathing is an immersive practice of spending mindful moments in nature. The practice invites us to slow down, engage our senses and renew our relationship with the natural world through a set of guided, structured nature-based activities.

Research shows many psychological and physiological benefits of forest bathing including stress reduction, regulation of blood pressure, emotional and social well-being among others.

Forest Therapy Sessions

Forest Therapy is a nature-based intervention program designed to cater individual needs of participants. The aim of the therapeutic practice is to promote positive mental, emotional, physical and social health.

How does it work?
Based on FT Hub’s framework, 6-12 weeks customised intervention programs are designed catering to specific needs. For instance, programs for isolated adolescents, care givers, mental health practitioners, to name a few.

I partner with local care centres, hospitals, community groups, and professionals with mental health training to provide nature-based support to individuals with specific needs.

Nature-based Well-being Workshop

Forest Bathing provides us the first step to connect with nature. The second step is the integration of nature-based activities in our daily life.

Designed for individuals dealing with chronic stress, anxiety, depressive tendencies, professionals with high pressure jobs and/or individuals with extremely busy personal/work life, a nature-based well being plan is based on the specific needs of the person. The aim is to help individuals cope with the pressures of life and strengthen their immune systems. This 4-week plan is fluid helping individuals adapt nature-based activities to heal themselves.

Nature Journaling

Learn to notice, sketch and write about your observations of the natural world. Learn how nature journaling can help restore attention and deepen experiences.

Benefits of Nature Journaling
Nature can heal us in many ways! Nature journaling helps slow down calming our overactive nervous system. It also helps process emotions and boosts creative expression. It encourages being in the present moment, engaging our senses and building community.

Children's Workshop
Whether your child is an English language learner or simply learns differently; nature journaling is a great learning tool to sharpen observation skills, foster critical thinking and to learn about the environment.
