ABOUT

URBASHI RAHA
Teacher, nature-based educator, teacher educator

I am a daughter, a wife, an avid reader and a passionate advocate for all things natural.

I have taught the English IB - DP/MYP, IGCSE and British National Curriculum. I also teach English language to adult learners from different parts of the globe.

I am interested in the intersection of language teaching, eco-justice issues and Indigenous ways of knowing. I am also deeply involved in anti-racist and inclusive pedagogies. My love for all natural beings has led me onto the journey of decolonial education. Through me work, I hope to rebuild the connection between humans and non-human beings, a connection that goes beyond treating them as natural resources made only for human consumption and exploitation.

You will find me exploring different landscapes and learning more about the non-human relatives of the topography.
